Guided Math games are used in Guided Math classrooms to engage the students in learning math skills and concepts. I use games like these in my Engaged Math Activity Station. In this station students daily play math games either with a partner or by themselves. The teacher varies the difficulty of the game. I change the easier games weekly and leave the harder games out longer. One suggestion is to reuse the games throughout the year. This technique builds confidence within the students and provides a spiral review component.
Here are many guided math games for different grade levels. Just scroll down to your grade level to view my Pinterest board for you!
