Guided Math in Middle Schools

A new phenomena is occurring…Guided Math in Middle Schools.

This teaching format is reaching more students because it is aimed at their learning levels.  With some professional development training, Guided Math in middle schools is building more successful mathematicians.

Here are some ideas to help middle school teachers transition.

Idea #1  First, prepare some Engaged Math Activities for the students to do when they are done with the day’s work.  This will help them to continue thinking about math, solidify math skills, and cut down on behavior problems.
